Shawnee Market celebrates local products from local people every Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm on the Grand Lawn at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. Weather permitting the location of the Shawnee Market may be moved indoors at the Inn.

Come, bring your picnic basket and meet your local farmers and food artisans, listen to local music on the Grand Lawn, have a ShawneeCraft beer and go home with local preserves. Enjoy Shawnee produce at our Market Grille open approximately at 5:30pm, featuring grilled burgers, hot dogs, and more. Music starts at 7pm.

A Stronger and Healthier Community

Shawnee Institute is working towards a stronger and healthier community with its involvement in such activities as theatrical play readings of local playwright’s work, the local River Road clean-up environmental projects, and the Community Concert Series, which features performances by local musicians at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. The most recent project in site is the Shawnee Learning Series, which provides a learning vacation with many opportunities to involve the entire family.
